ConnectEd

ConnectEd is the regions only online community for teachers working in North East Schools. It is a platform that will facilitate the:

Sharing of news and information on current issues that are affecting your schools locally, regionally and nationally.

Offering help and advice to colleagues around the region, making friends, contacts and key network links along the way.

Networking and collaborating with colleagues across the region, including taking part in cutting edge research programs and participating in TeachMeets and Webinars.

Taking part in discussions and debates about the crucial issues affecting schools in the North East, and helping to put structures in place to solve these by creating a unified, regionally accented voice designed to influence national decisions.

Sharing of classroom resources and ideas through our unique subject hubs, which bring together subject teachers from across the region. They are areas where teachers can communicate, collaborate and network.

ConnectEd is a members only site with private groups for Head Teachers and SBMs and other groups. It also has a number of open access areas where teachers can discuss and debate the latest hot topics in education.

There are currently over 1200 registered users of the site and this is growing on a weekly basis.
